The Rayburn House Office Building, completed in early 1965, is the third of three office buildings constructed for the United States House of Representatives. It occupies a site southwest of the Capitol bounded by Independence Avenue, South Capitol Street, C Street S.W., and First Street S.W.
The Rayburn House Office Building is located two blocks west of the Capitol South metro stop (Blue and Orange lines). My office, Room 2348, is in the southwest corner of the building. All Congressional office buildings are open to the public, Monday through Friday, during business hours. Please stop by the next time you are in Washington, D.C.!
