Prisoner Of War Medal Presented To Local Veteran On July 10, Congressman Lynch traveled to Norwood to present the Prisoner of War Medal to one World War II veteran (Motor Machinist Mate Second Class Joseph N. Baker, Jr.) and the families of two deceased World War II veterans (Lt. David Moir and PFC Michael Thornton) who earned, but never received, their medals.

Congressman Lynch Helps Brockton To Purchase New Fire Truck Congressman Stephen F. Lynch (D-MA) stands with Brockton Fire Chief Ken Galligan and Mayor James Harrington in front of the Brockton Fire Department’s new ladder truck, which was purchased with the help of a federal Fire Grant in the amount of $525,000. In the last five years, Congressman Lynch has helped the Fire Departments of the Ninth Congressional District to secure 35 federal Fire Grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
