Financial Services Approves Lynch Amendment on Affordable Housing
The U.S. House Financial Services Committee passed an amendment
authored by Congressmen Stephen F. Lynch and Christopher Murphy (D-CT)
to make housing more affordable for low-income and disabled Americans.
The Lynch-Murphy amendment addresses an inequity in national housing
policy that essentially provides less support for families living in

Walpole Student – Winner of 2007 Congressional Art Competition
Walpole
High School junior Courtney Gouthro is the winner from the Ninth
Congressional District of this year’s Congressional Art Competition.
Courtney’s painting, "American Flag," will hang in the U.S. Capitol in
