Congressman Lynch, alongside Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-San Diego), Congresswoman Susan Davis (D-San Diego), and Congressman Brian Mast (R-Palm City), introduced legislation to posthumously award the Congressional Gold Medal to Ambassador J. Congressman Stephen F. Lynch (D-Boston), the lead Democrat on the National Security subcommittee, joined Congressman Ron DeSantis (FL-06), the Chairman of the National Security subcommittee, to reintroduce the bipartisan Puppies Assisting Wounded Servicemembers (PAWS) Act in order to expand access to service dogs for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
