House Approves Lynch "Sea Wall" Amendment to Increase Funding For Army Corps of Engineers, Coastal Communities

Lynch’s amendment, which passed by a vote of 217-206, was included in H.R. 2609, the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, which will fund Department of Energy programs, the Army Corps of Engineers and other related agencies for FY2014.

Boston remembers fallen veterans at Memorial Day service

Dorchester's Cedar Grove Cemetery, the site of this annual observance, is old and venerable, and the resting place of many Union dead honored every year with a wreath-laying ceremony. And every year, the recently deceased of all Dorchester's veterans' posts are honored with a roll call. Congressman Stephen Lynch noted the unflagging efforts to bring the battlefield dead of all our wars home for burial.
