Community Project Funding:
The Community Project Funding (CPF) process is the mechanism through which Members of Congress may direct funding to district-specific initiatives. This year, Members will be able to submit a maximum of 15 projects across seven appropriations subcommittees to the Appropriations Committee for consideration.
Due to strict deadlines from the Appropriations Committee, the office’s deadline for submissions will be 6:00 pm, April 30th, 2024.
The guidance posted with each form is detailed and pulled directly from the guidance provided to Member offices by the relevant Appropriations Subcommittees, therefore we strongly encourage you to read all the information thoroughly before filling out the forms.
Additional questions or concerns may be sent to ma08.communityfunding@mail.house.gov.

Programmatic/Language Requests:
Every Fiscal Year (FY), Congress appropriates funding for most of the functions of the federal government. There are 12 separate appropriations bills, each written by a subcommittee with jurisdiction over specific agencies. During the appropriations process, lawmakers have the opportunity to submit requests to the respective subcommittees expressing support for authorized programs, bill/report language, and specific funding levels.
- Please submit a SEPARATE form for each request.
- Requests using this form must be for general program funding support or language ONLY.
- This form is NOT for district-specific Community Project Funding Requests (“Earmarks”). Please see below for CPF form information.
Submission Deadline: 6:00 PM - Friday, April 12, 2024
