Each year, I have the privilege of selecting artwork and apps created and designed by students from the 8th District in Congress as part of the Annual Congressional Art Competition and Congressional App Challenge.

Winners are honored in Washington, DC and their artwork and apps are displayed in the U.S. Capitol along with other winners throughout the country.

I am pleased to offer many talented young people an opportunity to participate in public service as interns in both my Washington, D.C. and district offices. Interns learn how government works by researching legislation, attending meetings, and assisting me with constituent casework and inquiries.
