U.S. Citizens in the region are encouraged to:

• Complete the State Department's Crisis Intake Form.

• Enroll in the State Department's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). 

• Monitor the State Department and Embassy websites and social media for updates.

The State Department continues to update travel advisories for various regions, and advises all U.S. citizens traveling overseas to exercise increased caution.
