Generations of brave Americans have served in every branch of the United States military with honor and valor. The sacrifices that these men and women and their families make every day in service to our nation deserve our gratitude and our respect. Congressman Lynch believes that ensuring that our veterans receive the quality services and assistance that they have earned is not only our duty, it is the least we can do for those who have done so much.
Congressman Lynch has co-sponsored and supported legislation to provide important services including housing assistance to homeless veterans, education benefits, and veterans courts for those dealing with addiction. He has also supported vital health services including research for Traumatic Brain Injuries, PTSD and other invisible injuries affecting service members, coverage of illnesses due to exposure to toxins while on duty, suicide prevention, and medical research into conditions to which our veterans appear to be more susceptible. Finally, he will continue the work he began with other Members of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability to ensure accountability at our nation’s Veterans Affairs Hospitals, while also being responsive to the needs of these vital health centers.
